Quebec (Eastern Canada) Mission Journey
(July 23 - August 1)
Just like most Mission teams, this is a Mission “Prayer, Care, and Share” Team. Our focus on this journey will be to pray, show that we care for the people by doing some projects needed by the Churches in Canada, and to share the love of Jesus in creative ways!
We are planning this Mission Journey for July 23 through August 1. This “Mission Journey” will begin in our Jerusalem of Charlotte or Burlington as we pray and our team leaves to join up with our partners. We will travel together into Canada.
We are the fulfillment of a vision for ongoing Mission involvement by Baptist State Convention to send partnership teams to Canada to help with various Mission Projects this summer. Our team will be building on the friendships and seeds planted last year by again serving up to 5 different language groups through Prayer-walking, Sports Camps, Vacation Bible Schools, Leadership development and light Construction.
Our first team meeting will be Saturday June 19th at Midwood Baptist in Charlotte.
Our second team meeting will be Saturday June 26th at Midwood and Brookwood in Burlington. (We will meet via Skype as an experiment this year)
Our final team meeting will be Saturday July 10th at Brookwood in Burlington.
God’s Word commands us to “Go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19-20) What a blessing to fulfill God’s great commission in this beautiful country with you.
